Antron Machinery's Alumina Toughened Zirconia Beads, a high performance grinding media designed for harsh industrial grinding environments. Due to their superior strength, toughness and resistance to breakage, these beads are widely used across multiple industries, providing a cost-effective and effective solution.
Technical data:
1. **High Hardness**: The Vickers hardness of ordinary GCr15 bearing steel is 800 HV, while the hardness of zirconia ceramic balls is above 1700 HV.
2. **High Wear Resistance**: Taking the processing technology of our company's products as an example, it takes approximately 2-4 hours to grind a steel ball with a machining allowance of 1 mm, whereas it takes at least 150-200 hours to process a silicon nitride ball.
3. **Corrosion Resistance**: Ceramic materials are chemically stable. In particular, silicon nitride balls hardly react chemically with any substance. They are widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemicals, and food, where contact with strong oxidizing and reducing agents is required.
4. **High-Temperature Resistance**: During the sintering process, ceramic balls are subjected to extremely high temperatures of thousands of degrees Celsius and significant pressure. This results in a very stable molecular structure and dense arrangement within the material, leading to a low thermal expansion coefficient. Temperature changes have almost no effect on the structural dimensions of ceramic balls. Their operating temperature can reach up to 1200°C or even higher, and they are also highly resistant to low temperatures. Therefore, they are widely used in the aerospace field.
5.**Light Weight**: Ceramic balls weigh only 50%-60% of that of ordinary steel balls, making them highly promising for applications in bearings and aerospace fields.
6. **Self-Lubrication**: Ceramic balls possess excellent self-lubricating properties and can achieve high machining precision, up to G5 or G10 grades. Due to their wear resistance, stable structure, and resistance to deformation, ceramic balls can be precision-engineered for use in many specialized industries.
7. **Insulation**: Ceramics have good insulating properties.
High bulk density: The bulk density of 2.2g/cm3 optimizes the filling efficiency of the grinding media. In the same volume, more zirconia balls are added, which means more contact with the products that need to be polished, so it can be more effective. Complete polish.
Mohs hardness reaches 8: The product is very hard and will not collapse during use, ensuring effective processing of various materials during the grinding process.
Low wear rate: 0.08kg/ton wear rate, reducing media consumption and extending service life.
Corrosion resistance: The product is sintered from 3 materials and has outstanding corrosion resistance. It can adapt to working requirements in various chemical environments, such as strong acids and alkalis, and has a wider range of uses.
Semiconductor manufacturing equipment, LCD manufacturing equipment, electroplating equipment, synthetic fiber manufacturing equipment, optical film equipment, various heat treatment furnaces, vacuum equipment, etc.: They can also be applied in composite bearings, tools for cold working, various guide wheels, various valves, vacuum equipment, and other harsh environments.
